From CAD file to sent quote in three steps

1

Import any CAD file

Drop a 2D DXF or SVG, or a 3D STEP/IGES model. KerfQuote reads the geometry — cut length, pierces, bounding box — right in your browser. No CAD seat, no upload.

2

See a live, itemized price

Pick process, material, thickness and quantity. Machine time, consumables, setup, margin and volume discount update instantly. No black box — every number is on screen.

3

Export a branded PDF

One click turns it into a professional quote with your logo, company details, VAT, currency and validity date. Save it to history and re-quote in seconds.

Everything a cutting shop needs to quote

2D + 3D CAD import

DXF, SVG, STEP and IGES — drop in flat drawings or solid models. STEP/IGES are read with a real CAD kernel, no conversion service.

Four processes, one tool

Wire EDM, abrasive waterjet, plasma and laser. Mix processes across a single quote and export them on one PDF.

Built for wire EDM

The only quoting tool that understands burn time: cut area, skim passes, wire cost and threading time per pierce — not just a square-inch guess.

Files never leave your browser

Every byte of geometry is parsed locally. Your customers' drawings stay on your machine — nothing is uploaded to a cloud, ever.

Your rates, every time

Calibrate hourly rates, cutting speeds, setup fees and margin once. Anyone in the shop gets the same price on the same part.

Volume discounts, VAT & currency

Quantity price breaks, an optional VAT line, validity period and your local currency — set up once, applied to every quote automatically.

Branded, professional PDF

Clean, itemized quote with your logo, company header and footer terms. A4 or Letter, with proper Unicode for any language.

Saved quote history

Every quote you build is kept locally so you can reopen, tweak and re-export a past job without starting from scratch.

Not another cloud quoting subscription

Most quoting tools upload your drawings, gate you behind a demo and only cover laser. KerfQuote doesn't.

Frequently asked questions

Which file types can I upload?

2D DXF and SVG drawings, plus 3D STEP and IGES models. STEP and IGES are read with a CAD kernel running in your browser, so you can quote straight from a solid model without exporting a flat DXF first.

Which cutting processes does KerfQuote support?

Wire EDM, abrasive waterjet, plasma and laser. You can quote different processes on different parts and put them all on one PDF.

How does it price wire EDM parts?

It computes cut area (cut length × part height) from your file, applies your machine's cutting speed for the main and skim passes, adds wire threading time per pierce, your hourly rate, wire cost, setup fee and margin.

Do my CAD files get uploaded to a server?

No. KerfQuote analyzes every file — including STEP and IGES — entirely in your browser. Drawings never leave your computer, which makes it safe for confidential customer parts.

Can I put my own logo, rates and VAT on the quote?

Yes. Set your hourly rates, cutting speeds, setup fee, margin, volume discounts, VAT rate, currency and validity period once. Every quote uses your numbers, and the PDF carries your logo and company details.

Do I need to install anything or know CAD?

No. It runs in any modern browser — nothing to install, no CAD skills required. Drop a file, set quantity and material, read the price.

How much does it cost?
